Queen’s Gambit is an Oklahoma-based Celtic band specializing in Irish and Scottish traditional music, with a side order of English Folk, dance, and Renaissance music for entertainment at any function. Renaissance Faires, Irish/Scottish Pubs, Educational Assemblies, Historical Re-enactments, Scottish Games, Weddings, and even Corporate Christmas Parties are some of the venues we have extensive experience with.

They perform a unique blend of Celtic, English, Scandinavian, and American folk music mixed in with period tunes from the Renaissance and Middle Ages that rubs shoulders with the occasional incognito rock song at most Renaissance festivals.

They have a wide variety of shows available, from the traditional American Tribal Style to the Fusion styles that include the Gothic and Exotic. They have a full band of musicians to accompany them, and their performances are perfect for cultural festivals, renaissance faires, art festivals, night clubs, weddings, and private parties alike.
On a side note the Capt. often patrons them at events that they need such a reference. The Red Moon Tribe at times jumps aboard our ship to take passage and the crew all enjoy their company. However it always seems that our coin purses end up a bit lighter than they were before they were aboard.

Istanpitta
Istanpitta is a United States based ensemble performing music of the 10th to 14th century Middle Ages including many traditional Middle Eastern dance tunes. The ensemble consists of 3-5 musicians playing a variety of period instruments including oud, lute, saz, early percussion, shawms, recorders,
transverse flutes, krummhorns, vielles, Medieval harp, bagpipes and voice. The ensemble performs live at formal concert venues, universities, and festivals.
